Welcome all players, parents and supporters to the St John Bosco Youth Centre Cricket Club and the 2017/18 season. This season we celebrate our 50th season. As a club we will be doing a few things to celebrate including a 50th Anniversary Dinner on 4 November 2017.
As we reach this important milestone it is a fitting time to look back and recognise the many volunteers that have contributed to Bosco Cricket Club over the last 50 years. Without those that give up their time to attend committee meetings, coach kids at training, manage the teams and umpire and score the games there would be Bosco Cricket Club and no local cricket. Thank you to all those that have given so much over the years and those who continue to do so.
Last season we fielded ten junior teams and two senior teams. We also got involved with the T20 Blast program held at Kareela Oval. There was a lot of success on the field with two junior teams winning the premiership. We are looking forward to another big season on the field this year.
Bosco Cricket prides itself on being a social and family-centered club. This season we will be holding several social events including our annual trivia night. I encourage you all to get along to these events and get involved with Bosco Cricket.
This website is an important part of communication within the club and we hope it can provide you with the information you need. This website should provide you with updated news, events and important information. There is also information about Bosco Cricket and its history. If you have any suggestions of ways to improve this website please let us know through the ‘Contact us’ page.
We hope the 2017/18 season is an enjoyable one for all.
